Customer engagement is achieved through online advertising, user generated product reviews, customer service Frequently Asked Question and through forums where the customers may interact and discuss new developments or enhancements for the product.

Scraper sites are those which use web scraping software in order to copy content from other websites. Scraper sites are not authentic as in their content is not original but often copied from open content websites and other websites. These scraper sites are mainly used for online advertising purpose and there are some which are tagged as having been made for AdSense. These kind of sites, that is Made for AdSense sites are considered low profile because they are there only for the purpose of getting visitors to click on advertisements and nothing else. As such they don’t posses or command any redeeming value.

Can we consider search engines as scraper sites? Well no, search engines do not fall in the category of scraper sites. They do go through the content of other sites but that is only for the purpose of indexing and ranking them on the basis of their relevancy. A little content containing the key phrases is copied and displayed in the search result listing alongside the name of the site.

The scraper sites which are made for AdSense are often accused of spamming the search result listings of the search engines and hence they are displayed as supplement links and the links generated by Google AdSense are displayed under that particular heading.

Operators of scraper websites earn a lot of money from the pages they design just for advertisement purpose because under pay per click[PPC Services], the advertiser pays publisher a certain amount of money for each click on the ad and hence scraper sites d everything they can to get more and more visitors to the intended site.
